BAC Stained Glass Workshop

This past week I attended a local workshop at the Brookings Art Council (BAC). I have done stained glass but I have found that in my glass work the thing that intimidates me the most at this point is working with the soldering iron and doing the stained glass soldering. So, in an effort to improve my skills and gain confidence I signed up for a workshop. I am lucky enough to have some great supporters in my life and my community and one of them (my HS Bestie) Lisa Hilkemeier tagged me in a FB post for the BAC workshops. I jumped on the opportunity to work on my soldering skills.

I had such a great time in this class and not only did I get to work on my soldering skills, I also got to meet two great instructors, Laurel Wengler & Ginny Weeks, as well as some very interesting and artistic class attendees. Overall this was well worth the time & cost and I will be attending more of the workshops in the future!
